Amazon Fire Tv set (stylized every bit amazon fireTV) is a line of digital media players and microconsoles developed by Virago.[12] [13] [14] The devices are small meshwork appliances that turn in digital audio frequency and TV content streamed via the Cyberspace to a connected HDTV. They likewise let users to get at topical anesthetic content and to play video games with the included remote control or other game controller, or away using a roving app remote on another device.

The device is on tap in two configuration factors, set-top corner and HDMI plug-in stick with, in universal, lesser specifications than the contemporaneous boxes.[12] The ongoing set-clear box exemplary is the Fire TV Dice with embedded Amazon Ring smart speaker (which efficaciously replaced the Fire TV box seat mannikin[15] [16]), while the stick form factor encompasses trio models, the entry-level Fire TV Vex Lite, the criterion Fervency TV Stick, and the high-end Fervency TV Stick 4K (the last of which effectively replaced the third-generation Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD "hanging down"[17] [18] [19]).[20]

The first-generation Fire TV device was unveiled on April 2, 2014. The minute-contemporaries version was released in 2015, with additive Fire Idiot box devices released on regular basis since.

In Butt o 2016, Amazon began collaborating with TV set manufacturers to include the Amazon Fire OS and Fire TV interface integral with televisions sold to the public, labeled as Fire Television set Version.[21] [22] [23] [24] In September 2018, Amazon extended the use of the Fire TV brand to the Blast TV Recast, an over-the-air television digital video recorder exclusively for viewing use with Fire TV and Virago Resound Register devices.[25]

According to Amazon, the Force out Telecasting was designed to outpace competitors like the Apple TV and Roku in performance: the 0.72-inch-thick box conspicuous a 1.7 Gigacycle per second quad-CORE CPU (Qualcomm Snapdragon 8064), 2 GB of Cram and 8 GB of national store, on with a MIMO dual-stripe radio for 1080p cyclosis all over 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and a 10/100 Ethernet connection and USB 2.0 port.
